Snovember

With the days of forced rest this record-breaking blizzard has brought, I thought maybe I should get back on this here blog and give some update into my life.
But because there are soooo many school assignments to do, and I am buried deep in stress and anxiety because of them, here’s a quick post of pictures instead :)
Hopefully I’ll get back to writing soon.
The beginnings of the storm- you could barely see across the street!
Sarah and I went to visit Sammy 2 doors down  -it was great to have such a good friend so close by!
Mid-day Nov 18th. -the street had been cleared a little earlier in the day so it doesn’t look too bad, but in driveways and yards, it was about waist high at this point!
A lull before the second wave, mid-day Nov. 19
Sarah and I kept some sanity during the 5 1/2 days by painting

When all was said and done OP was recorded with about 6 1/2 ft of snow!
The view from the back window. Like a bad car crash, I couldn’t help but look, but got more depressed with each glance.
Thankfully I did escape as soon as the travel ban was lifted, and what a relief it was to be released! I was able to haul my car out of the unplowed street and out to the Adirondacks for a conference with Cru. This was during a mini adventure I took with some friends during a few free ours we had over the weekend retreat.
